[ABOUT ME]
I’m a composer and arts educator based in San Francisco. As both a creator and a teacher, I collaborate with curious people of all ages - from kindergarteners to professionals - to design playful arts experiences that foster creativity, community, and connection.
As a composer, I devise situations where simple inquiries about sound and other forms of media are transformed into immersive sandboxes for collective discovery, often with the help of collaborators from a range of artistic backgrounds and experience levels. My work takes the form of concert music, albums, sound installations, films, video games, printed zines, and everything in between.
As an arts educator, I aim to provide resources that encourage agency and growth through creative challenges and invitations. In addition to teaching classes, lessons, and workshops related to music and arts integration, I’m deeply interested in creating curriculum resources for students, educators, and institutions alike in the form of lesson plans, videos, and interactive web widgets.
